Some fun from Christmas!

I love Christmas time. A time when people are giving and more caring. I love hearing "Merry Christmas!" From complete strangers I encounter. A time when families get together and enjoy memories and laughter. These are a few of my favorites from this past Christmas.

Shelby is one of my best friends from nursing school so when I needed someone to come with my while I played with my new camera and figured out some of the controls I called her up. Here are some from this evening. No photoshop to these other than a watermark and converting the one to black and white.

Anessa

My cousin asked if I was up to the challenge of getting some pictures of her little girl who just turned five. I figured why not?! Here are some of my favorites.

Autumn

I love autumn time. The leaves change colors, it's not too hot and not too cold. Growing up it meant digging potatoes and getting ready to snowmobile. Autumn almost passed me by this year without a single picture of changing colors so I went for a ride on my longboard around my neighborhood and snapped a few quick pictures.

The Balls Family

So it's been a while since I've posted any photos here on my blog, lots of pictures on Facebook but none on here. Ashley asked me if I would be interested in doing some family pictures for them. I was a little hesitant because I haven't done many family pictures and their little girl is only 8 months old, the youngest I've ever had a chance to photograph. Madison did amazing though and here are some of the results!
